Emergency Preparedness + Business Advising Services

Ms. Foster has personally worked as a choreographer, performer, writer, director, and visual artist. 

She is a founding board member the International Association of Blacks in Dance. Foster is also the recipient of the DC Mayor’s Art Award. Foster has given countless hours in community service and has offered advice and support to many aspiring arts students, instructors, future company directors. She is the 2019 Grantee as part of Culture Caucus at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.


As a trained Emergency Preparedness for the Performing Arts consultant, there is a clear understanding of the breadth and depth of emergency planning needs for arts organizations.  I have worked in the arts tor over 45 years and have supported aspiring artists, dance company directors, and studio directors in their artistic endeavors. As Special Programs Assistant for the International Association of Blacks in Dance, I am now pleased to offer a range of services that assist in planning and post-event response for critical emergencies that impact arts organizations.


What can an Emergency Preparedness consultant do for your organization? Ms. Foster provides a variety of informational resources increasing education through conference/group presentations, webinars, and onsite guidance tools, as well as assistance with disaster planning tailored to specific arts organizational needs.
