About the Event

 A strategic plan is important for all nonprofits. It serves as a road map to help your organization fulfill its mission and goals.   During this training, you will learn: 

  • Why so many strategic planning processes don't produce what they promise.
  • How to develop a plan that you can use throughout the year to help your organization achieve its goals.
  • Ensure your strategic planning process is not a waste of time and money, so you can better serve your community.  

 MEET THE PRESENTER  Octavia Caldwell, President & CEOROC Consultants, LLC ROC Consultants is a firm specializing in helping nonprofit organizations, churches and entrepreneurs strategically plan, fund and manage how they operate their organizations. Ms. Caldwell has over 20 years of experience, and demonstrated the knowledge, skills and ability to develop practical approaches to address organizational challenges and problems.  

HOW TO REGISTER Payment must be provided at the time of registration. The registration fee covers the training and lunch for pre-paid registrants only.  

Nonprofit PGC will not accept cash or checks the day of the event. However, you may register on-site with a credit/debit card only. CANCELLATION POLICYIf you are unable to attend an event for which you are registered, you may send another individual from your organization in your place with written notification to Nonprofit Prince George's County. If you are unable to send a replacement, written notification of your registration cancellation must be received by email to takesha@nonprofitpgc.org two (2) business days prior to the the event. NOTE:Sign language for the hearing impaired and interpretive services can be made available.
